Originally from Dallas, Texas but of Iranian descent, Ida Saki, graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and continued her studies at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
Zahra was born in 1985 in Hamedan, Iran. And currently she works and lives in New York City. She has a studio at the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts. Her large-scale abstracted and architectonic paintings and installations are based on the ruins of historical sites in Iran in conjunction with American postmodern architectural forms.
Samira Nowparast was born in Tehran in 1979. She started in the field of art at a very young age as she attended Master Golamhossein Nami’s art classes. She soon started her solo shows at the age of 15 at Vali gallery in Tehran.
